Jason is in his second season with the PrairieThunder. He scored five goals and had six assists in the final 17 games of last season. He played in the first four games before suffering a torn ACL in his knee at Flint and missed the next 55 games recovering from surgery.


He was named the PrairieThunder’s “Community Man of the Year” for his willingness to represent the organization through public appearances, social functions and school visits. 


Jason played three years with the Cornwall Colts of the CJAHL where he scored 144 points on 48 goals and 96 assists in 160 games before turning pro with the Corpus Christi Rayz of the CHL in 2006-07. He played 43 games with the Rayz, scoring four goals with 10 assists for 14 points. He began the 2007-08 season with Corpus Christi before moving to the Knoxville Bears of the SPHL. He missed part of the season with an injury, but returned to play 24 games and help Nashville win the SPHL championship. He scored 14 points on three goals and 11 assists.


He played one game with the Rock IceHogs of the AHL last season on call-up and had an assist. He attended the IceHogs’ preseason camp this year and scored one goal and had one assist in one game.
