Zac is in his first year with the PrairieThunder after he was claimed off waivers two days before the start of the season. He is a 2007 graduate of Ferris State University where he earned a degree in business administration.
He was the leading scorer during his senior year at Ferris State when he collected 30 points on ninwe goals and 21 assists in 37 games. He was also voted as the team’s most improved player. Before enrolling at Ferris State, Pearson played in the USHL with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.
Zac began his pro career in 2007-08 when he played nine games for Muskegon before moving to the Mississippi RiverKings in the CHL. He helped lead the RiverKings to the playoffs, scoring four goals with seven assists for 11 points. He began last season with the Elmira Jackels of the ECHL before going to Flint.
He played 56 games with the Generals, scoring 18 goals with 26 assists for 44 points. During his 110-game pro career, he has 22 goals with 34 assists for 56 points.
