BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Goaltender Jarred Kaufmann stopped 22 shots to post his second shutout against the Bloomington PrairieThunder, 3-0, in International Hockey League action before 2,674 people Sunday at U.S. Cellular Coliseum.
The loss dropped the PrairieThunder record to 19-17-2-4 and 44 points ahead of Wednesday’s 7:05 p.m. home contest against Flint.
Scoring goals for the Mallards (15-20-4-3, 37 points) were Ryan Fultz, Mike Zbriger on a power play and Juris Stals. Chris Lipsett had two assists, while Joel Gasper, Jaques Perreault, Steve Lovdahl and Justin White.
Sebastian Dahm took the loss in net for the PrairieThunder.
